PHOEBE KNOWS THE RECRUITING PROCESS INSIDE AND OUT. AS A FORMER COLLEGE COACH, SHE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT COACHES ARE LOOKING FOR IN A STUDENT-ATHLETE.
Phoebe served for three years as the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Slippery Rock University, a NCAA Division II University in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. At SRU, Phoebe was heavily involved with the recruitment of student-athletes. She was the primary contact person for all interested field hockey players; she evaluated hundreds of athletes and assisted the head coach with scholarship and roster spot decisions. Phoebe's role at Slippery Rock, as well as her previous experience as the head coach of Daniel Webster College (2012, 2013) has helped her develop into an expert in the college recruiting process.
Phoebe is an alumna of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. Along with her coaching experience, Phoebe has an impressive playing resume. She was a four year starter at Smith College where her name still lingers in the record books for all-time points, goals, and shots on goal. She has traveled around the world to play competitive hockey with a year long stint in Brisbane, Australia on the Queensland University of Technology Hockey Club's Women's Division I team (2014) and a pair of three month stints in Dublin, Ireland with Old Alexandra Hockey Club's Division I and II teams (2015, 2018). Phoebe’s most recent international hockey trip was to Buenos Aires, Argentina in August of 2018.
Phoebe started Play College Field Hockey in March 2018. In 2021 Phoebe started hearing from more and more athletes in different sports as field hockey parents began referring her to friends outside of field hockey. In 2022 Phoebe launched Play College Sports to bring her recruiting expertise to all sports. Don't let contacting coaches, deciding which camps and tournaments to attend, or even narrowing down your search overwhelm you. Phoebe is here to help you with each step along the way.
